YOURE FIRED

Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, have also closed their Buckingham Palace office sending a clear message that they never plan to live in England again, the Daily Mail reports.

The couple fled with baby Archie to Canada where they are currently holed up in an 11million mansion on Vancouver Island.

It is believed that while a couple of their team may find work in the royal household, the bulk will now be negotiating their redundancy packages.

It is believed senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are aware of the office closure and redundancies.

A source told the Mail: Given their decision to step back, an office at Buckingham Palace is no longer needed.

While the details are still being finalised and efforts are being made to redeploy people within the royal household, unfortunately there will be some redundancies.

GIVEN THE CHOP

Among those given the chop are the couples trusted media advisors as well as Harrys programme co-ordinator Clara Loughran.

Ms Loughran has been with Harry for a long time and was said to be so admired by the Prince that she was asked to hand Meghan her bouquet in church on her wedding day.

Another high profile staff member to be given their marching orders is communications chief Sara Latham, who previously worked for the Obamas and Hillary Clinton.

A source said the close-knit team were rocked by the shock news and described them as loyal to a fault.

The insider added: They are all good people, very loyal and brilliant at their jobs, and everyone feels incredibly sorry for them.

The move comes after Meghan allegedly hired a US-team of agents and publicists that worked with her during her days as an actress.

MEG’S NEW SQUAD

Meghans new squad is alleged to have made life difficult for the royal staff after hiring a designer to make a new website without any involvement from them.

Harry will continue to have a small privately-employed team in London to help with his new green travel project, Travalyst.

While the redundancies could be wrapped up by the time he and Meghan finish their transition from Royal life in mid to late March.

The news comes as reports claimed Harry is much happier and more relaxed in Canada and has no regrets about quitting the Royal Family.

An insider told US Weekly: Harrys much happier in Canada and feels a lot more relaxed.

So far he doesnt regret the move.

The royal source added that Harry moved across the Atlantic because he was determined to protect his young family.

They added: “That was his No.1 priority and thats exactly what hes done.”

The comments come after Meghan made similar noises about quitting royal life saying she has no regrets because she now enjoys practising yoga and cooking food for nine-month-old Archie.

The Duchess of Sussex is claimed to have told pals that she and Harry have been spending “quality time together” since announcing their bombshell departure news last month.

A source told the Daily Mail: Meghan has no regrets and the skys the limit. She said (she and Harry) feel like a huge weight has been lifted.

Theyve been spending quality time together as a family. Meghan has been cooking and making homemade baby food for Archie.
