The couple could use the TV threat to try to secure a better deal at the Sandringham talks with the Queen, Prince Charles and Wills over their plans to step down from frontline royal duties.
A royal source said: Harry and Meghans people have been reaching out to all the big US networks to explore the possibilities of a sit-down warts-and-all interview.
Perhaps Harry and Meghan will use this as a negotiating tactic as there is no way the royals want their dirty laundry out in the open.
Maybe they will get more money if they agree not to talk.
The source said the couple want to tell their side of the story adding: Meghan feels shes been silenced and is no longer prepared to be muted.
“She and Harry feel the royals have been racist and sexist. Her people are actively exploring opportunities.
It is believed Meghans team has been in contact with ABC, NBC and CBS and celebrity chat show hosts such as Oprah.
She was a surprise guest at Harry and Meghans wedding and is known to be in contact with them. Megs mum Doria has been pictured leaving Oprahs home.
Harry has already worked with Oprah for an Apple TV series on mental health.
THE INSTITUTION IS ‘OUT-OF-TOUCH’
Tomorrow’s unprecedented summit seeks to resolve Harry and Meghans status, their future royal roles and funding.
Harry is thought to have been holed up at Buckingham Palace on Saturday for meetings with his team.
Yesterday the couples close confidant, journalist Tom Bradby, admitted they might consider a no holds barred interview, adding: I dont think it would be pretty.
A source said the royals golden rule has always been never complain, never explain.
They added: Harry and Meghan want to blow that open as they do with much of the institution which they feel is out-of-touch.
Harry is incensed at some of the briefing and counter-briefing.
