PRINCE Harry and Prince William have “a lot of hurt” with “nobody to help mediate” after the Queen’s private secretary was axed, it has been claimed.

Speculation of a rift between the royal brothers has been bubbling since Harry married Meghan Markle – with sources saying the absence of one time mediator Christopher Geidt did little to help matters.

A source described Mr Geidt, who acted as the Queen’s right hand man from 2007 to 2017, as another person the brothers could speak to about issues.

The source told People: “Petty grievances can become huge conflicts between all the different royal offices if they arent managed correctly, and thats exactly whats happening now.”

But they added: “As is often the case in any family, when one of your siblings gets married, theres always a period of readjustment.

“People have new priorities and different focuses.”

Prince Harry himself refused to deny claims he and his older brother had fallen out as he spoke during an ITV documentary.

The 35-year-old said: “As brothers, you havegood days, you have bad days.”

Harry said the pressure on the royals means inevitably stuff happens.

And the Duke of Sussex has chosen not to travel to Sandringham for Christmas this year – further fuelling the rumours.

William and Kate, both 37, will be at Sandringham with George, six, Charlotte, four and Louis, one.

In 2018, the Sun told howsimmering tension began when William questioned the speed of Harry and Meghans engagement.

NOT-SO-FAB FOUR

The first hints of friction reportedly came after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.

Once shed returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a brother to brother chat.

He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for her but it has been claimed he advised him to take it slowly.

The younger prince reportedly didn’t take too kindly to the advice, with one royal source saying he “went mental”.

Then in June 2019 Harry and Meghan officiallysplit off from the charity they shared with William and Kate.

Harry and Meg were living in close proximity to Kate and Wills within the Kensington Palace estate, but they switched toFrogmore Cottagein Windsor before babyArchiewas born.

Meghan and Harry alsoskipped the royals annual holiday in Balmoralthis year.
