PRINCE Harry is on a “global mission” to help British troops – and is set to meet Army vets in the US and Canada.
He has told aides he wants to transform services for Brits who have seen action, as he carves out a new role after quitting as a senior royal.

A source told the Sun Online: “Supporting the Military and campaigning for better care for veterans remains one of the most important things to Harry.
“It will be a key part of his work over the upcoming year.
“America and Canada are home to some pioneering projects which help injured soldiers and veterans suffering from PTSD.
“Harry wants to soak as much of that up as possible and bring back what he learns to the charities he supports in the UK.”
Last month Harry, 35, and wife Meghan Markle, 38, fled to Canada after making the bombshell announcement.
They are currently holed up in an 11million mansion on Vancouver Island with baby Archie.
One of the groups Harry is planning to meet is the PTSD Association of Canada, supports thousands of troops suffering from the condition.
He is also planning to hold private meetings with many charities who will be invited to the forthcoming Invictus Games.

Harry has told friends he wants the event, in May, to be the best one ever.
The source added: Now Harry has stepped away from being a senior Royal, he obviously has the freedom and time to focus on the projects that really matter to him.
“As a former soldier himself Harry feels passionately that services for our troops and for those who return from war-zone could often be better.
“Now he wants to help try and bring about that change.
In January Harry and Meghan announced they wanted to step down as senior royals.
The pair posted on Instagram their plans to split their time between Britain and North America – with Canada as their second home.
The couple said they will be “financially independent” as they “carve out a progressive new role”, but will still support the Queen.
Harry, who served nine years as an Army officer, was head of the Royal Marines for two years and 32 days before he quit.

Last night it emerged the Sussexessacked their very loyal staff,after announcing they were quitting their senior posts.
Harry and Meghan closed their Buckingham Palace office, sending a message they may never live in England again.
It comes days after Britains military heroes were honoured at the Suns prestigious Millie Awards.
Among the winners was All Call Signs, a group that rescues soldiers who go missing with PTSD – which Harry and Meghan are big supporters of.
Former soldier Dan Arnold, who set up All Call Signs with co-creator Stephen James, said: We have rescued more than one veteran a week in the past year.
“But all the signs are that our services are going to be required more and more as we move into 2020.
It is vital we do more to support our troops and veterans who struggle after leaving the service so it is great Prince Harry remains committed to doing more.
