A QUEEN’S guard was filmed being wheeled around a pool table on a metal trolley and crashing into a tower of chairs.

The soldier, in Coldstream Guards regalia, downed a drink and saluted a painting of the Queen as he was trundled past while pals laughed.

The mobile phone footage was filmed in the officers’ mess at Victoria Barracks, just yards from Windsor Castle, Berks.

Three men then push the soldier carrying a Union Jack around a pool table.

He downs a drink before removing his regimental peak cap and placing a champagne bucket on his head.

The trolley is then shoved into a 7ft tower of chairs as others leap clear.

Last night, a pal of one of the guards said: “These are lads letting off steam.

“They are working really hard but everything is shut, so it’s hard to relax.”

An Army spokesman said: “This matter has been dealt with internally.”
