Sophie, 25, has made it clear she wants privacy for her little girl and locked horns with a photographer in May after he tried to snap a picture of her and Willa.

However, her involvement in new HBO cartoon The Prince has led to her being branded a ‘hypocrite’ by some.

The Prince has been billed as a satirical take on the inner workings of the Royal Family, as seen through the eyes of heir to the throne, Prince George, eight.

Created by Family Guy writer Gary Janetti, the star-studded cast sees Orlando Bloom voice the character of Prince Harry, as well as Alan Cumming and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens.

“Hypocrisy much?”

Sophie voices Prince George’s younger sister, Princess Charlotte, which did not go down well after the trailer was released on Thursday.

One viewer wrote online: “For someone who preaches to the world about privacy and children’s rights – Sophie Turner sure has no qualms mocking a child. Hypocrisy much?”

Another shared: “This series is gross going after kids, interesting voice cast taking the p*** out of children for money while wanting privacy for their child, Sophie Turner, that you hun?

“Hope your child is never subject to this, do better! @joejonas not cool & disappointed.”

A third added: “Sophie Turner, who recently demanded privacy for her own child, is happy to parody and ridicule a 6 year old little girl. Privacy for me but not for thee!”

Taking to Instagram in May, Sophie took aim at a member of the paparazzi for snapping a picture of her daughter.

She wrote: “She is my daughter. She did not ask for this life, to be photographed. It’s f***ing creepy.”

She added: “I’m respectfully asking everyone to stop following us around and stop trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially printing them. It’s disgusting. You do not have my permission.”

The voice cast also includes Orlando Bloom, Alan Cumming and Dan Stevens

The Prince is available now on HBO Max.
