THE QUEEN is on the hunt for a florist to spruce up Buckingham Palace and the lucky candidate will get to travel to all of the royal residences.
The successful applicant will receive an annual salary of up to 24,000 based on their experience with the desirable candidate an expert in the field.
You will be tasked with producing floral arrangements for hundreds of events throughout the year that will be seen by thousands of guests visiting Buckingham Palace.
The Queen is looking for creativity when it comes to her floristry supporting the Master of the Households department with the upkeep of the residences.
The job specification on the Royal Household website continues: You’ll be proud of the part your technical skills will play in delivering world class events, which will inspire you to produce beautiful work every time.
The ideal candidate will already have a floristry qualification and have experience working in the hospitality industry.
The specification adds: An expert in your field, you will be confident regularly creating a range of floral displays from small table centres and vases through to large pedestal arrangements.
You’ll also be comfortable working independently, taking initiative to handle the varied needs that come with a busy events calendar of a working palace.
You must be approachable and friendly with good communication skills in order to fit in with existing palace staff.
Working for the monarch you will receive 33 days holiday in a unique and stimulating work environment.
