A Berry Royal Christmas hits our screens tomorrow night on BBC One, but royal fans noticed something extra special about Kates outfit in previews of the programme.

The mum-of-three wore a 1,018 red polka-dot dress by Alessandra Rich, but added some bling in the form of the Queens earrings.

The monarch, 93, lent Kate the silver jubilee diamond and pearl earrings for filming.

The Queen notably wore them to celebrate her silver jubilee in 1977 which gives the earrings their nickname.
