The Queen pointed out how much red-haired Archie looks like dad Prince Harry during video call, royal expert claims

THE Queen is said to have done a Zoom chat with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and noted how baby Archie has red hair like Prince Harry. 

According to royal editor Katie Nicholl, Her Majesty rang the LA-based couple on her 94th birthday in April and pointed out the similarities.

She wrote in The Times: “The Queen, meanwhile, has apparently only seen her great-grandson a handful of times, although technology has come to the rescue. 

“During a Zoom call on her 94th birthday last month, she is said to have noted that Archie has his father’s red hair.”

She added that a source told her “Archie is a happy and sweet baby, full of love and joy, and it’s contagious” and that “he is active and pulling himself up on everything with a great determination to walk.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently allegedly locked down at a £15million Beverly Hills mansion owned by producer Tyler Perry. 

We last saw Archie on his first birthday earlier this month, in a video of Meghan reading him a children’s book

They relocated across the pond with one-year-old Archie, after stepping down as senior royals earlier this year. 

The duke and duchess had no choice but to get creative as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary last week in lockdown. 

And it seems that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did just that – spending their May 19 celebrations tucking into Mexican food and margarita cocktails, according to Bazaar.com.

Omid Scobie, the journalist behind the couple’s upcoming biography Finding Freedom, said a source had revealed they spent time during the day looking back at their 2018 wedding.

They also spoke via video call to a number of key vendors who had helped to bring their Windsor Castle wedding to life.

A source said: “They all reminisced about what a beautiful and magical day it was.”

Omid added: “And with the Sussexes now based in Los Angeles, it only seemed right to celebrate with a Southern Californian favourite — Mexican food.”

It is said Meghan and Harry have been spending lockdown planning the launch of their non-profit organisation Archewelle, and figuring out their next ventures. 

We have seen the couple during lockdown on virtual chats with organisations they support, such as the Hubb Community, Smart Works, Well Child and competitors of the Invictus Games. 

To mark their second anniversary, Meghan and Harry have also helped to provide 250,000 meals for struggling Brits during lockdown with their  £90,000 wedding donation.
