What is Emerald Fennel’s role in The Crown season 3?
As of yet, there has been no official confirmation that Emerald will play Camilla Parker Bowles, however, photos from the sethave suggested otherwise.
The 1975 meeting between Prince Charles, played by Josh O’Connor, and Camilla after a polo match has seemingly been recreated with Emerald fitting the description in a red top and jeans.
Producer Suzanne Mackie revealed audiences “start meeting Camilla Parker Bowles in season three. We have to be honest, season three and four are being mapped out.
Charles and Camilla datedafter meeting in 1971, but the romance ended when Charles went on naval duties.
She married British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973, and they had two children together. The pair eventually divorced in 1995, with Camilla going on to marryPrince Charles.
What has Emerald Fennel said about The Crown season 3?
Emerald has high hopes for the new series of the Crown.
During an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, she said: “I think anyone who watched it would think it was fair and brilliant and beautifully done… I hope.”
The actress also explained that she has not portrayed Camilla as a villain despite the controversy surrounding her affair with Prince Charles whilst he was still married to Diana.
She said: “I hope that it feels true. She was a young woman who fell in love with someone. And it’s a story I think that maybe hasn’t been told – the kind of story pre his marriage. So I hope that I have done a good job.”
When is The Crown season three available on Netflix?
The Crown series three will be available on Netflix from Sunday November 17.
And it’s thought there won’t be a long wait for a season four either.

When was Emerald Fennel in Call the Midwife?
Emerald is best known for her role as Nurse Patience “Patsy” Mount in the BBC drama series, Call the Midwife.
She initially appeared as a guest-star during series two in 2013 before being bumped to a series regular.
In series four it was revealed she was in a same-sex relationship with fellow nurse Delia Busby, but due to the times they had to keep their love secret.
Emerald’s last appearance came in the season six finale.
How did Emerald Fennell become famous?
Emerald Lilly Fennell was born October 1, 1985, in Hammersmith, London.
The 33-year-old has also starred as Princess Merkalova in 2012’s Anna Karenina, and as Elsa in 2015’s The Danish Girl with Eddie Redmayne.
Emerald is also a published writer and her first novel, Shiverton Hall, was released in December 2012. She was also cast as Ada Lovelace in ITV’s Victoria.
