Geoff begins to manipulate people on his radio show – he claims to forgive Yasmeen and says he wants to help her.
But can he be trusted?
Then Yasmeen has a visit from a women’s charity as she debates whether Geoff can be believed.
But things take a shocking turn as the woman from the charity tells her that Geoff abused her – something that Yasmeen had no idea of, and then confuses her decision to trust him more.
Paula Wilcox will play Elaine, the charity worker.
She’ll have a “pivotal” role in this story line.
Yasmeen’s prison mate shares a book about coercive control in an attempt to make her see his abusive behaviour.
But then Yasmeen calls Geoff and said she wants to reunite…
On the day of the trial the pressure becomes too much for Yasmeen – and she suffers a heart attack.
Meanwhile, Imran tries to find Elaine after Yasmeen shared the shocking abuse revelations.
Next week will also see the start of coronavirus being a part of the show – characters are aware of the pandemic and are social distancing.
Aggie has been working at the hospital as a key worker, leaving Ed worried.
Elsewhere, Adam keeps using Laura to get information to hold over Gary.
It looks as though he’s going to have some luck next week.
But it comes at the expense of things being worse with Sarah, who catches him flirting with Laura.
Laura tells Adam that Gary had threatened her, so Adam takes matters into his own hands.
He discovers that money Laura had received was from Gary.
Adam straight up accuses Gary of murdering Rick.
But Gary has other concerns – Brian goes hunting for valuable coins in the woods, where Rick’s grave is.
Gary talks him out of going – for a moment.
Then Brian spots Gary driving off with a shovel and thinks he’s gone to look for coins alone, so decides to follow him.
Next Daniel asks Adam for an advance on his pay after returning to work, which Adam reluctantly agrees to.
Adam sees Sinead’s clothes in Daniel’s bag, but he has a cover story that throws Adam off the scent.
We see that Daniel uses the cash to spend time with an escort, Nicky.
He just wants to talk and nothing more.
Meanwhile Abi decides to move in with Kevin and Jack, which ruffles some feathers.
She reassures Sally their friendship with remain the same.
Seb can’t seem to forgive Abi yet though…
