ANDY Whyment explained that he was having to fly his family on holiday in economy after his luxury flights to and from the I’m A Celeb jungle.

The 38-year-old Coronation Street star posted a picture of him with his wife and two kids, sinking a beer at the airport before their flight.

He wrote: “Pre flight drinks, after flying Business class to and from Australia back to normality in Economy for our flight to Dubai .”

The jungle runner-up explained he was taking the family for a week’s cruise round the UAE to see in the New Year.

As if to prove the point, he also posted a picture of them bunched up in the Economy seats at the back of the plane.

But even if Andy wasn’t happy about having to turn left when he boarded, it didn’t show – with the Whyments all flashing huge smiles at the camera.

One posted: “Thought u only drank bacardi and diet coke xx”

Andy was a huge hit with I’m A Celebrity viewers, coming second only to Jacqueline Jossa.

But he insisted his success wouldn’t change him and said he was desperate to get back to his “boring life” of sitting on the sofa and going to Asda.

Andy, who has played Kirk Sutherland in the soap since 2000, lives in Atherton, Manchester with wife Nichola and kids Tom, 10, and Hollie, eight.

He told the Daily Star: Im looking forward to getting back and just getting into my normal boring life of just getting home from work, closing the front door and sitting on the sofa and watching telly.”

The dad-of-two added: “I know my profile is probably going to be higher now. I didnt do [the show] for that reason.

Andy explained he has the soap ‘series-linked’ on his Sky box – despite starring in the show himself.
