Viewers know that Honey recently went through a terrible ordeal when her evil date Paul spiked her drink.
Jay and Honey then grew closer as he supported her in the aftermath and attended meetings with DI Ward about the incident.
The scenes left viewers predicting that Honey and Jay could be heading for a romance.
One viewer said: “We’re not heading for a Honey and Jay romance are we?”

Sure enough, actor Jamie Borthwick has revealed that Jay and Honey will “share a moment” after he dumped Lola.
Jamie teased: “I can’t say much but there is a moment with Jay and Honey – how it all pans out, you’ll have to wait and see!”
But whether this means they’ll strike up a romance remains to be seen, and viewers will have to tune in to find out.
What has Emma Barton said about her love life in EastEnders?
Speaking about her character’s love life ahead of her return to the soap in September, actress Emma Barton revealed that she wants Honey and Billy to get back together – and not Honey and Jay.
Talking to Radio Times, Emma revealed: “I’m not going to lie, speaking as Emma I do think Honey and Billy belong together.
“They write so brilliantly and truthfully for them so it’s not like they will just simply pick up, there is always a journey with those characters and I love that.
“Let’s see where her and Billy’s relationship goes…”
