CORONATION Street will treat fans to an extra episode tonight in preparation for Sinead Tinker’s heartbreaking death.

The much-loved character will finally lose her battle with cervical cancer on Friday night in scenes that are bound to leave viewers dashing for the tissues.

Tonight’s episode will see Sinead – who’s played by Katie McGlynn- wake up and remember her row with husbandwith Daniel (Rob Mallard)over his kiss with Bethany Platt.

Then, with the help of her auntie Beth,Sinead records some videos for baby Bertie on Daniels laptop, determined that he should know how much she loved him.

Tracy Barlow later calls at the flat and tells Sinead that Bertie is going to need his dad when shes gone – reminding her that he loves them both with all his heart.

Tracys words resonate with Sinead and, when Daniel returns home, hes told that she wants to see him.

The episode starts with Sinead waking up and remembering her row with Daniel following his kiss with Bethany

Sinead talks candidly with Daniel about her death and tells him that she needs to know she can trust him and that hell be there for their son when shes gone.

The next day, Sinead urges Daniel to stop punishing himself over the kiss, telling him she has forgiven him.

Vicar Billy Mayhew then stops by and Sinead starts making plans with him for her funeral.

Tomorrow night’s tearjerker will see the young mum realise it’s finally the end of the road as Dr. Gaddas tells her she is too weak to travel to the hospice.

Sinead then explains to her stunned husband that she might not make the journey, leaving him utterly bereft.

The couple then struggle with the realisation that it’s time for her to start saying her goodbyes.

Sinead is seen waking up one last time to her family gathered around her bed, before asking them to leave so that she can be alone with Daniel.

With everyone gone, she affectionately squeezes Daniels hand, aware her time is running out.

She then passes away peacefully with her husband and son on the bed.

Daniel lays down next to Sinead and breaks downas he realises he and Bertie will have to get used to life without her.
