CORONATION Street viewers called ITV out on an epic blunder that saw Tracy call her lover Paula – without ever dialling her number.
The scene aired on Wednesday and showed Tracy calling Paula to ask her to remain quiet about their one night stand, however, fans of the long-running soap realised that Tracy forgot to call the number, and instead spoke straight into the phone without tapping the screen.

One amused viewer shared: “Tracy’s got a magic phone, just pick it up and don’t even search for who you want to call, it just knows.”
“Tracey did well ringing Paula then without even touching her phone,” joked another while a third added: “Wow they have magic phones on @itvcorrie, Tracy didnt even ring a number she just opened the case and spoke to Paula.”
After the pair’s shock night together, fans of the soap have been calling on show bosses to get the two characters into a serious romance.
Tracy – who is played by actress Kate Ford in the ITV soap – bedded the lawyer after bragging she had had “more women than Madonna” while behind bars for killing ex Charlie Stubbs.
But when she woke up bladdered from the boozy night before in Paula’s swish flat, she couldn’t believe what she had done.
Paula told her: “I’m not going to go broadcasting it.
“I can assure you – it was just a bit of fun.”

She added: “You weren’t all prudish last night when you banging on about your prison days and how you’d bedded more women than Madonna.”
Tracy begged her to keep quiet but it all went wrong when her daughter Amy worked out what had happened and demanded her mum tell Steve the truth.
