CORONATION Street fans are convinced baby Ollie is in danger after show bosses promised Liz Callard’s “tragic” exit.

Cobbles legend Beverley Callard is leaving the soap after 30 years, but viewers already know that she is not going to be killed off.

Coronation Street fans think Liz will leave the soap in a tragic storyline about baby Ollie, after Tracy and Steve offer to raise Amys child as their own

However, showrunner Iain MacLeod teased “something horrific occurs that draws in a few different clans on the Street, and forces them to deal with the hardest thing anyone would ever have to deal with.”

Now fans are convinced it has something to do with Amy’s baby Ollie and his demise, after Tracy and Steve promise to raise him as their own.

Fans speculated on Digital Spy’s soap forum that Ollie is the character that “links them all”.

One said: “Baby Oliver does link them all, so………………..”

As another remarked: “My first thought was child kidnap. Probably Oliver”

And another begged: “Please not a baby cancer or death storyline.”

But others agreed that the soap wouldn’t take on another cancer storyline so soon after Sinead Tinker’s death.

One mused: “Young Oliver has to be the common link between them all. It’ll either be in him dying in a tragic accident or else, as people have said, being kidnapped.”

Beverley has quit her role after playing bubbly barmaid Liz for 30 years

Meanwhile, another suggested: “It definitely sounds like it could be Steve’s fault, and and Liz tries to take the fall for him.”

Beverley quit her role as Liz McDonald but remains one of Corries longest-serving actors with three decades on the cobbles.

During her lifetime on the soap, the talented actress has been involved in some hard-hitting storylines including a tragic miscarriage and awful domestic abuse at the hands of former husband Jim.

Bev told OK! Magazine her final scenes would air this year.

Speaking to OK! Magazine she teased that her exit storyline would come to an explosive head.

She said: Ive been told Liz is going to go with one hell of a bang. I can’t wait!

Corrie fans will be relieved that producers have already told Bev that her character wont be killed off when she leaves in the summer.
