CORONATION Streets fans are demanding Andy Whyment gets Christmas number one after his character Kirk Sutherland sings the quadruplets to sleep on the show.

Viewers who saw him on I’m A Celebrity might not know that he has this hidden talent.

Kirk managed to get the kids to sleep

In the show, Chesney and Gemma are currently struggling with their four newborn babies and are enlisting the help of their friends and family.

At their wit’s end on how to stop them from crying, lovable Kirk comes to their rescue with a song penned by himself.

Luckily, this puts the baby to sleep – but in the real world, people are desperate for it to be released for Christmas number one.

One person said: “Yes yes yes he must be Christmas number 1”

He even gave Chesney a CD – meaning he could be in the running for Christmas number one

Another added: “Omg kirk ! Get that vindaloo song on spotify”

A third said: “Kirk aint that bad yanno I honestly think hed be great entertainment for kids birthday parties”

Andy just came back from Australia last week after a successful stint on I’m A Celeb.

He came in second place, behind EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa.

The star hosted a welcome home party – where he reunited with fellow Corrie actors Alan Halsall and Sam Aston.

The venue was adorned with balloons, while Christmas decorations hung from the ceiling and stage.

A board was decorated with pictures of Andy from his time in the jungle, with the words ‘Welcome Back’ written across the bottom.

Andy was also reunited with a number of jungle critters including a snake thanks to a company called Curious Critters.
