CORONATION Street fans are terrified for Yasmeen Nazir suffered another flashback to abusive Geoff Metcalfe.
The chef – who is played by actress Shelley King in the ITV soap – was abused for years by husband Geoff.
In tonight’s episode she asked homeless Stu to move into her spare room after feeling guilty for blaming him for Speed Daal’s fire.
But after first rejecting Yasmeen’s offer, Stuart was convinced into putting aside his pride and taking it by Kelly.
He went to see Yasmeen in the cafe and took her some flowers he had picked from the red rec.
However he made a fatal mistake in trying to lighten the mood.
Joking he said: “Well I hope your house is nice and clean.
“And if that vacuum cleaner isn’t up to scratch or I’ll be on at you to get a new one.
“A clean home is a happy home, eh?”
Yasmeen’s face darkened and she looked close to tears having been reminded of Geoff and his abuse in forcing her to clean.
She ran out of the cafe shrieking: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry I can’t do this.”
Stu was horrified by what he’d done – albeit accidentally – and asked Alya to apologise for him.
Fans were heartbroken for Yasmeen.
One wrote: “I don’t think Yasmeen is ready to move on.”
A second said: “Poor Yasmeen. Stu has just blew it.”
Another added: “Poor Stu. Poor Yasmeen. That was just a horrible moment.”
