The teen has been working for the villain in the Bistro, but now the businessman has offered her a promotion, viewers fear for her safety.

His behaviour already seemed to be inappropriate when he began complimenting Faye.

He then told his partner in crime Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) that he’s keeping Faye “sweet” in the hope that he can keep her boyfriend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) quiet.

However, fans will remember the hotelier has a worrying track record when it comes to female employees and Faye may be next on his list.

Viewers took to Twitter to voice their concerns for the teen, as Ray’s evil plan to take over the whole street gathers momentum.

One fan added: “Faye needs to be careful. Ray isn’t to be trusted #corrie.”

Ray actor Mark Frost teased his character’s demise earler this month.

He told Inside Soap: “I think there are people who are definitely out to get him.

“Abi is certainly out for vengeance, that’s kind of obvious – and Kevin’s none too pleased with Ray, either.”

The soap star added: “I think more and more people are beginning to become aware of just who he is – he’d slipped under the radar until now. His own arrogance may also cause him trouble in the future…”
