GARY Windass ups the factory rent next week in Coronation Street to try and pay off Rick Neelan’s ex Laura – and Adam starts to work out what he’s up to.
The walls begin to close in around Gary in upcoming scenes when Laura threatens to call the police unless Rick gives her more money.

Corrie fans know that Gary began paying for Rick’s daughter Kelly’s school fees after murdering him and burying him in the woods last year.
But Gary’s nemesis Adam was quick to notice something fishy about his odd sense of loyalty to the teenager when he jumped to defend her in a row with Dev Alahan over Asha’s ‘sex tape’.
And Adam’s suspicions were piqued earlier this month when Kelly told him that Gary is the only one who claims still to be in touch with Rick.
Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Gary call at the factory and announce he’s upping the rent.
Later, Laura explains to Adam that Rick sends her money via his minions and that she doesn’t ask too many questions.
When Sarah tells Adam about Gary’s new rent demands, Adam starts to put two and two together.
When Gary later turns up at the factory to discuss the rent with Sarah, Adam tells him it’s pretty obvious he’s up to something dodgy.
Later, Adam manages to get Laura to explain to him how she gets money from Rick.
When she shows him the key to her safety deposit box, Adam secretly takes a picture.
What’s he up to?
Meanwhile, Carla announces to the factory workers that Nick has asked her to step in while he takes some time off to look after Oliver.
Carla casts her eye over the new lease and tells Sarah to leave Gary to her.
Corrie’s producer Iain MacLeod previously warned that Gary should be nervous about leaving trails to his killer secret.
Speaking to Inside Soap earlier this year, he said: “Adam is secretly conspiring against him, which will threaten to lead Adam, and therefore the authorities, to Rick’s final resting place.”
