GARY Windass starts to panic next week in Coronation Street when Laura insists she wants more money from Rick – or she’ll call the police.

Gary is being haunted by his past after recklessly killing loan shark Rick Neelan at the end of last year in self-defence.

Gary panics when Laura demands more money from Rick

Corrie fans know that – to try and keep Rick’s family at a distance – Gary decided to pay Rick’s daughter Kelly’s school fees.

But his plan backfired terribly when Kelly turned up on the cobbles in April and started at the local school.

After doing some digging, Gary discovered that Kelly’s mother had been pocketing the fees and warned her that Rick would kill her if he found out.

Corrie fans know that Gary’s nemesis Adam has noticed something fishy about his odd sense of loyalty to Kelly and has been doing some of his own digging.

Adam’s suspicions were piqued earlier this month when Kelly told him that Gary is the only one who claims still to be in touch with Rick.

Gary is hiding the secret that he buried Rick in the woods last year in self-defence

Next week’s episodes of Corrie will see the walls close further around Gary as Laura calls at the furniture shop and tells him that Rick has 24 hours to give her more money or she’ll ring the police.

Will Gary pay Laura to keep her quiet – or could it be game over for the villain?

Coronation Street’s producer Iain MacLeod previously warned that Gary should be nervous about leaving trails to his killer secret.

Speaking to Inside Soap earlier this year, he said: “Adam is secretly conspiring against him, which will threaten to lead Adam, and therefore the authorities, to Rick’s final resting place.”
