CORONATION Street’s Yasmeen Nazir’s hell at the hands of Geoff Metcalfe is going to take an even darker turn next week when he forces her to wear a revealing dress that he bought for an escort.
The poor chef – who is played by Shelley King on the ITV soap – has been suffering horrific abuse at the hands of her husband Geoff for over a year.

Coronation Street viewers have been left horrified by Geoff’s increasingly controlling behaviour as Yasmeen has become embroiled in the soap’s hard-hitting coercive control storyline.
At the end of last year, viewers were shocked when Geoff forced Yasmeen to bin all of her clothes and spend her time cleaning the house.
Since then, the bully has ramped up his abuse and started controlling what Yasmeen eats, the money she spends and the people she socialises with, while spending his own time hiring prostitutes behind her back.
Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Geoff continue to spy on Yasmeen as he heads out to the corner shop.
Looking at the secret hidden camera feed on his phone, he’s furious to see Yasmeen stuffing clothes in a holdall and locking it in a cupboard.
Geoff returns home and nonchalantly asks for the key to the cupboard, leading Yasmeen to pretend to search high and low for it.
Geoff watches her scramble around before sneering and grabbing the key out of her pocket and forcing her to unlock the cupboard.
Later in the week, Geoff locks Yasmeen in the house and confiscates her phone as he heads out of the house.
When he returns, Sally calls over from her garden and invites them to the reopening of the bistro.
Later, as they head to the event, Geoff sneers at Yasmeen’s dress and hands her a revealing one that he’d bought for one of his escorts instead.
Geoff insists she puts it on, before steering her to the Rovers.
Yasmeen feels self-conscious as she arrives, and Sally and Tim raise a roast to her and Geoff.
Later, Yasmeen is shocked when Geoff announces he’s agreed to pay for their wedding.
And once they’re back at home, Geoff enjoys telling Yasmeen that the dress was actually intended for one of his escorts.
Yasmeen is sickened by Geoff’s confession.
Could this be the wake-up call Yasmeen needs to leave her abuser, or could their argument take a violent turn?
