CORONATION Street’s Abi Franklin’s drug relapse reaches terrifying new lows as she spirals out of control.

Sally Carman’s troubled character recently linked back up with ex Dean as she broke her sobriety streak.

Abi Franklin’s drugs hell reaches new a new in this week’s Coronation Street episodes
A trailer for the ITV soap sees Sally Carman’s character berated for her messy state

Abi, who last year lost son Seb after he was murdered in a hate crime, then took things one step further with drug addict Dean as the pair re-kindled their romance.

This left Kevin (played by Michael Le Vell) heartbroken to find out his wife was unfaithful and the married couple separated in a brutal fashion.

A Coronation Street trailer has now revealed Abi’s dire state of mind as this week’s episodes play out.

Entitled Drama, Deceit and Life Or Death Dilemmas, it opens with Abi getting her fix before she is seen slumped on her front door.

Her colleague Tyrone Dobbs berates her and rages: “Look at you, you can barely stand up.”

Looking worse for wear, Abi retaliates: “I aint got time for this.”

Later in the trailer, she is seen sprawled on the sofa clutching her stomach.

Her pal rants: “How much have you had?

“I think you’re a car crash,” as she wriggles around in pain.

Rather aptly, the next scene sees Abi behind the wheel of a car, revving the engine.

The car is still in the garage with the door closed and, as a result, the toxic exhaust fumes are filling the space.

Abi can be seen with a wild look across her face as she clutches the wheel in terror.

Yet will she come to her senses?

DRUGS HORROR

Upcoming spoiler scenes show Abi being rushed to hospital after the latest instalment of her drugs binge plays out.

As Kevin returns home he finds his wife and Dean Turnbull cosy on the sofa – high on drugs and alcohol.

Furious, Kevin orders Abi to pack her things and get out.

While she’s in the bathroom, Dean steals Kevin’s garage keys.

Abi then races over to the garage, finding Dean revving a customer’s car, and decides to leaps in the passenger seat making a grab for the key.

Dean is too quick and the pair are soon driving down a country road in the stolen car.

Her state worsens and she doubles over in pain, which prompts Dean to stop the car.

She crouches by the side of the road in agony, but to her horror, Dean leaps back in and speeds off.

Abi calls for an ambulance but her phone switches off after running out of battery, leaving her to survey the road in fear.

Returning to the Street, Abi is kicked out of No.13 by Debbie who assumes she’s drunk and proceeds to pack her things.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) phones her and says that if the stolen car isn’t retrieved, their business is over.

Spotting a BMW, Abi hatches a plan and calls Dean, meeting up with him at his lock-up.

However, when he inspects the BMW, Abi turns on him and calls the police to report the original stolen car… unaware that Dean overhears her call.

After a talk with Tyrone, a concerned Toyah calls Abi and is met with a paramedic who explains that Abi has been hospitalised after being involved in an accident.

ABI’S BATTLE

Abi Franklin was first introduced to Coronation Street viewers in October 2017.

When Abi first appeared on screen she was a recovering drug addict being monitored by social services because she had two small children, twins Lexi and Charlie

Anna Windass was the first character to meet Abi and was appalled by the conditions she and her children lived in.

Anna was also horrified that Abi was drinking vodka when she should have been taking care of her kids.

It was revealed that Abi had taken a drug overdose and subsequently went into rehab.

She has worked hard to re-build her life yet the death of much-loved son Seb knocked her for six.

Fans were overwhelmed with emotion following his passing and how, shortly after, Abi managed a brief reunion with her twins.
