CORONATION Street star Alex Bain has found love again after splitting with the mother of his baby daughter last year.

The actor, who plays Simon Barlow, became a father to daughter Lydia-Rose last year when his girlfriend Levi Selby gave birth aged just 16 years old.

But the pair split up last May – and now, Alex is dating a pretty dancer called Mollie.

The pair met through Alex’s second job as a choreographer last December and have posted a series of loved-up pics to Instagram.

Mollie, 17, posted an adorable tribute to Alex, telling him: “I’m so grateful to have you in my life I miss you so much when you’re not with me I love you so much.”

The Coronation Street actor replied saying: “I love you so much! I’m so glad you’re mine! I’ve never been happier!”

In February, he posted a collection of loved-up pics with Mollie, telling fans “I love her so much!”

Alex became a dad in 2018, just after sitting his GCSEs. His girlfriend at the time, Levi, gave birth to Lydia Rose on 2 December – but sadly, the pair split up in May last year.

At the time, a source told HOAR: “They were over the moon at the birth of their baby girl and were really happy together.

“But they’ve been through a lot together and they’re both still so young.

“It’s a shame they couldn’t make the relationship work but they’ve gone their separate ways.

“They’re both now just trying to move on but they absolutely adore their daughter.”

Alex has been on Coronation Street for twelve years, playing Ken Barlow’s grandson since joining in 2008.

He’s won Best Young Soap Performance twice – first at the British Soap Awards in 2011, and again in 2004 at the Inside Soap Awards.

Coronation Street had no comment when contacted by HOAR Online.
