CORONATION Street’s Katie McGlynn goes for a dip in daring swimsuit on a sizzling Mexico holiday.

The Sinead Tinker actress swapped the cobbled northern streets of Weatherfield for the sun of Central America as she takes a dip in a pool.

The star is standing in the water in a patterned, low cut swimsuit, looking as if the water is a bit chilly.

She then wades through the water with her sunglasses on her head, before leaving via the steps.

The actress lets the water drip in as she stands in the sun.

Katie was enjoying a well-deserved break in the sun with her best friend Lee after shooting her gruelling Corrie exit scenes.

But now Katie is feeling fit, telling Closer magazine that she is feeling “more confident than ever” after shedding the pounds.

She said: “I was snacking on biscuits in the green room and eating flapjacks made by the crew when I was exhausted.

“I was usually between a size 8-10 when ordering clothes, but I was creeping up to a size 12, which isn’t bad at all, but it was bigger than I usually am.”
