FORMER Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn has stunned her fans with a throwback pic showing off her toned body.
Katie, 25, posted the photo of her on trip to Mexico wearing a sheer gold and cream jumpsuit to her Instagram stories.
Wearing her blond hair in a stylish half-up, half-down ponytail, the actress posed smiling on a balcony wearing big gold drop hoop earrings.
Katie captioned the throwback pic: “Never been to LA but one of my favourite places is this spot in Mexico.”
Clearly her past sunny holidays have been on Katie’s mind after posting a different holiday post earlier this week.
Sitting with her back to the camera in high slit pink and black swimsuit on boat looking out to sea, Katie mused about the beauty of nature.
The throwback pics sent her fans wild and they took to Instagram to shower her in compliments.
She wrote: “Mother Nature is a beautiful part of life we shouldn’t take for granted.”
A second said: “Mother nature is beautiful.. she made you . You are as beautiful as the scenery… thank you mother nature.”
While a third added: “Beautiful. Love your swimming costume.”
One Instagram user wrote: “Absolute beaut love ya katie x”
Katie joined the ITV soap seven years ago and recently opened up about what might be next for her career-wise.
Speaking about her next steps, the 26-year-old actress said: “I would try my luck in L.A.
“I’ve had some weird and wonderful meetings. All dependent on timing. I am going to LA to chase my dreams. If it doesn’t happen it doesn’t matter.”
“It is nerve-wracking but it’s exciting,” she added.
“I don’t like not knowing. I would love to play that kind of sassy or evil role, someone like Harley Quinn.”
The 26-year-old shed a whopping one stone after her exit from the soap, admitting she had been left feeling “dowdy and frumpy” during her latter weeks on the ITV soap.
Katie confessed she felt “very down” about her appearance, with her hectic schedule and late working hours not lending themselves well to training and healthy eating.
