After both couples had skated, the judges decided to save Libby and send Lisa home.

Ashley Banjo said: “Lisa, you came out in this skate off and skated like you meant it, you’ve been nervous, your confidence has been knocked but you skated like you meant it.”

Christopher Dean explained his choice, saying: “At this point in time it gets down to the nitty gritty, everyone could be a finalist.

“I’m looking at the technique and how they skated under pressure and Libby and Mark get my vote.”

Lisa suffered a knee injury earlier in the week and didn’t have much time to train

The star said she was delighted to have made it so far into the competition

Speaking about her time on the show, which has seen her suffer a number of slip ups on the ice and suffer a bad fall on her knee earlier this week, Lisa said: “I’m made up that I got this far to be honest.

“I’ve had the best time ever, I’ve met the best people, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”

Her pro partner Tom Naylor praised the actress, saying: “We only trained from Thursday, so to put all those routines together was amazing.”

Perri Kiely scored the first 10s of the series – but just missed out on a perfect 40 earlier in the show

Earlier in the evening, Perri Kiely scored the first 10s of the series for his Harry Potter routine.

After arriving on the ice on a broomstick from the ceiling, Perri – who is a massive Harry Potter fan -flowed around the ice and impressed the judges in the process.

His Diversity co-star Ashley Banjo was the first to give his score, shelling out the first 10 of the series.

He was followed by John Barrowman and Jayne Torvill, but Perri missed out on a perfect 40 after Christopher Dean gave him 9.5.

Perri was delighted with his total of 39.5 and Ashley couldn’t have been prouder of his pal.

He said: “My heart is beating so fast, I hate to use this word but it was magical. There were moments where it looked like you were flying.

“From a performance and choreography perspective I don’t think you could have embodied the film and the character any more.”
