CORONATION Street star Matilda Freeman has given fans a glimpse into her boho-loving life beyond the cobbles.

While her character Summer Spellman may play an ordinary schoolgirl on the ITV soap, Matilda, 16, is leading a much more glamorous life if her Instagram feed is anything to go by.

Matilda – who first joined the soap back in 2017 – has treated her 47.7k followers to a series of fun shots on social media.

Last month, the teen celebrated her 16th birthday surrounded by friends at a camping bash in her garden.

As well as a camper van cake, Matilda and her pals treated themselves to toasted marshmallows around the fire.

The group later spent the night tucked away in a blue tent, complete with a matching mug, party balloons and a sign reading ‘Abba only’.

The teen also enjoys trips to the beach, where she’s often spotted on a surfboard.

Matilda has even shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the Corrie set, and regularly posts updates from the ITV studio.

In one, the actress is seen relaxing in her dressing room in a pair of checked pyjama trousers.

The star – who plays adopted youngster Summer – joined the soap as the ward of vicar Billy Mayhew and Todd Grimshaw.
