CORONATION Street actress Sally Carman looked worlds apart from her character Abi Franklin as she went shopping in Manchester today.
The cobbles star cut a stylish figure as she nipped into retail store Cos in the city centre.
She wore a vibrant orange top with red lips adding an extra pop of colour.
Abi teamed them with a khaki coat and navy trousers, and she finished her look with some sophisticated specs.
It was all a far cry from mechanic and recovering drug addict Abi’s style in the soap.
Sally made her debut on Coronation Street in October 2017.
She was only expecting to have a brief stint but has become a well established character.
In June 2018 she told OK :“This is the brilliant thing with Coronation Street. I initially came in for six episodes and now I’m on the street and have a job on the garage.
“As for more family, you don’t know do you? We’ll just have to wait and see. I have no idea at all but I’m in very good hands here and I’m very happy to see what happens.”
And she struck up a romance with co-star Joe Duttine with the pair recently moving in together and becoming engaged.
Prior to Corrie, Sally played Kelly Maguire in Shameless.
She first appeared in the series in 2005 before she became a more prominent character in the 2008 series and finally a main cast member from 2009 to 2013.
Kelly was the sister of Kev Ball and was married to Shane Maguire.
Her character was also prostitute at Lillian’s brothel and a heroin addict.
