Shot in 1992, Samia would have been nine or 10 at the time. In one snap she raised an orange spade above her head in a nautical themed outfit.

In another she wore a jumper emblazoned with clowns and continued the theme by holding a creepy doll.

Samia wrote: “Anyone need a knitting pattern for some nice yellow woolly shorts? No?

“This was my first magazine cover for Machine Knitting News children’s collection 1992 💁🏻‍♀️👌🏼.

“Special thanks to my mum for keeping all these little gems for me to show my kids 😆♥🤦🏻‍♀️.

“Swipe to see me holding the freakiest clown doll everrrrr! 😳🤡.”

The post shocked many followers, with some claiming young Samia was the double of her daughter Freya.

“Ahh Sam Freya is just the double of you in these pics!! 💖💖 Xxx,” wrote one.

Another posted: “It’s Sooo Freya!! ❤ Loving these 😘😂.”

Samia recently spilled the beans on what it was like filming her character Maria’s soap wedding to Gary Windass amid social distancing measures.

New filming rules brought in for the coronavirus pandemic meant the actors had to stay 2m apart at all times.

Bosses were forced to become incredibly inventive to solve the nightmare situation of the two characters getting wed.

Samia said: “The director shot it really cleverly so hopefully it doesn’t look like we’re too far apart saying our vows.

“It was a bit tricky making it look like we were closer together – and putting the ring on, that was really tricky.

“It actually looks like we’re putting the ring on to each other’s hands but the camera cuts away and obviously we were nowhere near each other.

“You just see me have the ring and reach towards Mikey and then you see him fiddling with it as though I’ve put it on his hand.”

Maria has had a string of bad luck with men – with most of her lovers dying tragically.

And she revealed that Maria would be “devastated” when the truth about Gary’s murders come to light – with viewers aware he’s killed Rick Neelan and Rana Habeeb.

Samia said: “I think she’d be furious and devastated she’s potentially about to be married to a murderer.

“Especially after her first husband, Liam, was murdered and she got engaged to his killer.”

She added: “She’s not got a great track record with murderers. I think she’d run a mile if she actually found out the truth.

“She doesn’t learn from her mistakes and trusts people too quickly considering what she’s been through. My advice to her would be to stay away from men. She’s very naive.”
