CORONATION Street star Sue Cleaver has dyed her hair pink as she enjoys the soap’s shutdown.
The actress – who plays Eileen Grimshaw in the ITV soap – is on a break from playing the cab caller and doesn’t have to stay looking like her.
Fancying a change Sue, who also starred in Victoria Wood’s Dinnerladies as bread woman Glenda, decided to dye her hair bright pink.
She captioned the picture: “As Eileen is locked in the prop cupboard for the foreseeable thought I’d dabble with the hair dye.”
The cast of Corrie have been stood down for as long as the pandemic shutdown continues – and they’ve taken full advantage of it.
With the soap likely to be out of production until the summer, the cast have made some changes to their looks.
Actor Charlie de Melo looked unrecognisable after he shaved all of his hair off.
Meanwhile Alexandra Mardell got adventurous with the hair dye as she bleached and then coloured her hair bright purple.
Alexandra – who plays Emma Brooker on the ITV soap – posted her new hair on Instagram, wearing two big hoop earrings and a yellow top.
Smiling at the camera with a head full of curly purple hair, she captioned the image: “Quarantine made me do it”
Fans flooded the comments with compliments, with one person saying: “Omg is that the real colour. So jealous”
Another added: “I absolutely love it really suits you.”
