MYLEENE isn’t the only female star willing to try Dancing On Ice’s daredevil headbanger move.
Former Coronation Street actress Faye Brookes says she would give it a go with her TV skating partner Hamish Gaman.
The gutsy feat, also known as a bounce spin, involves a skater being spun around by the ankles by their partner.
Speaking about the move, which is normally performed by show finalists, Faye, 33, says: “I am up for it.
“I think because Hamish is so tall and strong. It might be really easy.
“I am drinking in every moment and if it comes up as an option, I am game.
“I don’t want to waste any opportunities. Why not?”
Faye, who quit the ITV soap last April after playing Kate Connor for four years, is the bookies’ favourite to win – despite not yet having performed solo.
But it is not just the odds-makers who are backing Faye to go all the way.
She says: “I’ve had so much love and support from all of my Corrie pals.
“I am still in the girls’ WhatsApp group and they were gushing on Sunday about how fab the 9 To 5 routine was and they haven’t even seen us six skate yet.
“I know they are backing me 100 per cent. I don’t think it is an advantage – I just think it’s lovely that I’ve got a really good support system from them.”
