EASTENDERS fans spotted a blunder in the New Year’s Eve episode as troubled alcoholic Linda’s phone battery managed to stay full despite staying out all night partying.
The pub landlady was seen spiralling dangerously out of control as she continued to be haunted by the events of Christmas Day.
Drunk Linda fumbled around with her phone after a wild night of partying
In a dramatic show on January 31, Linda turned to drink to cope with her part in Keanu’s “death” cover-up.
She was seen suffering blackouts throughout her wild night out before ending up in a hotel room with a stranger.
After managing to fight him off, she found herself in Albert Square walking barefoot.
Getting her phone out to call Martin, viewers were surprised to see her battery at 100 per cent.
One said: “Catching up on last nights @bbceastenders I want Lindas phone battery!! #eastenders.”
Another added: “How is Lindas phone still alive #EastEnders?”
The episode ended with Martin threatening Linda to keep their secret in an alleyway at the side of the Queen Vic.
It was aired before viewers found out that Martin took Keanu to an abandoned warehouse to kill him.
But Linda turned out to be in the back of his van and ended up taking control of the situation.
She shot Keanu in the shoulder and forced him to fake his own death so he could go on the run.
She told him he had to disappear and could never contact anyone again – or they would all be dead.
Linda then sent him to a hospital to get treatment for the gunshot wound and told Martin to dispose of the evidence before they went back to the Square.
