THE EastEnders cast reunited to celebrate Rudolph Walker’s 80th birthday in Hackney this weekend.
The legendary actor plays Patrick Trueman in the BBC One soap, and actually hit the milestone age on the 28th September.
However, some of the show’s former cast members got together for the belated celebration.
Richard Blackwood, who played Vincent Hubbard in the show until last April, took to his Instagram page last night to tell fans about the event.
Posting a photo of himself with his arm around Tameka Empson, who played his onscreen wife Kim Fox, Richard wrote: “Rudolph Walker’s 80th birthday tonight at Hackney Empire!
“Its a blessing to be amongst my old school family! We all go back years and years! My TV wife and true old School Sister @official_tameka_empson
“People that watched us on EastEnders didnt know we go back over 20 years, so what we did on TV was from the heart! Love you always.”
In the snap, Richard and Tameka look happy and relaxed in each other’s company, with Tameka sitting on a stool while her former co-star wraps his arm around her shoulder.
A second photo shows the two joined by more close pals – including another ‘Enders alumni, Ricky Norwood.
Ricky played fan-favourite Fatboy in the show between 2010 and 2015, with Vincent being loosely responsible for the character’s tragic Christmas Eve death.
One more snap was posted to the actor’s Instagram Story, this time featuring former Carol Jackson actress Lindsey Coulson.
The two stars are sharing a warm embrace, with Lindsey beaming at the camera.
Photos of the birthday boy himself are yet to be shared online.
