Spoilers have revealed that Chantelle finally will realise she needs to break free from Gray’s clutches after months of torture during lockdow next week in EastEnders.

The upcoming scenes will see her organise to meet with one of Gray’s rival law firms to seek out the best divorce lawyer.

But when the hairdresser realises it’s going to be expensive, she meets with Kheerat to ask if he can lend her money.

Later, when Kheerat asks her what she needs it for, Chantelle admits she wants to divorce Gray.

And as he promises to help her, the pair share a moment.

Later, Chantelle hatches a plan to escape with the kids while Gray heads off to work.

But will it go smoothly?

With Kheerat on side, Chantelle’s chances of escaping her husband are looking promising.

But there’s no word yet from BBC bosses about Chantelle’s exit. 

So fans will have to wait and see whether she manages to escape Gray’s clutches and flee from Albert Square.

Are Chantelle and Kheerat going to have an affair in EastEnders?

EastEnders fans have been predicting that Chantelle and Kheerat will have an affair for months after noticing their chemistry – and that he’ll save her from her abusive marriage to Gray.

Tension between the pair came to a head when a power cut trapped Chantelle alone with Kheerat at the Panesars’ call centre.

But Chantelle was more worried about how Gray would react if he found out she was alone with Kheerat and rushed off.

Fans are convinced that Chantelle’s escape from Gray will coincide with her getting together with Kheerat.

What do we know about Gray’s abuse of Chantelle in EastEnders?

Chantelle is at the centre of a dark domestic abuse storyline, and is being bullied and controlled by her monster husband.

There was outrage from EastEnders viewers when Gray snapped Chantelle’s arm after her pregnancy test came back negative earlier this year.

Viewers were then shocked further when she apologised to him for the incident, blaming herself for not making him feel loved.

Fans then watched in horror as Gray dragged Chantelle upstairs and raped her – forcing her to try for another baby with him.

In recent scenes, viewers watched Gray install a tracker device on his wife to control her every move. 

At one point, fans were even left fearing that Gray would end up murdering Chantelle during one of his rages.
