EASTENDERS’ Sharon Mitchell is set to have an explosive showdown with Ian Beale later this year.
The grieving mother – who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the BBC soap – was seen screaming at Ian in a scene watched by a visitor to the set who leaked the news online.

Sharon’s meltdown was described as her “losing it” in the now deleted post on a fan site.
Viewers know that Ian is responsible for her son Dennis’ tragic death – after he locked him in a room on the sinking boat and failed to rescue him in time.
He has instead allowed others to think him a hero who tried to save Dennis rather than confess the truth.
Sharon has been struggling to cope since Dennis’ death and has been too grief-stricken to bond with her newborn son Kayden.

In last night’s emotional episode she was seen planning to take her own life before she thought twice when Ian rushed in trying to stop her.
Seeing his long-time best friend’s pain still wasn’t enough to make him confess to his part in Dennis’ demise.
Scattered over the table were pictures of Dennis and as Ian ran in Sharon sobbed: “I couldn’t do it, I wanted to so badly but I couldn’t do it.”
