EastEnders fans convined Jean Slater will die from her overdose after bystanders were slow to act

EastEnders fans are convinced that Jean Slater is going to die after last night’s episode saw her collapse from an overdose.

Jean looked terribly ill as she stumbled around in the Minute Mart after being drugged by Kush, who appeared to give her too many of her prescription pills.

As Jean (Gillian Wright) lost her balance in the store, bystanders were slow to help her and now viewers believe she may be in real danger.

As she staggered about looking disorientated, Jean fell to the floor and began having a fit as onlookers panicked about what to do.

Taking to Twitter, EastEnders fans began speculating about Jean’s fate, and it wasn’t exactly positive.

One fan said: “We cannot lose Jean I repeat we cannot lose Jean,” while another tweeted: “I think someone’s killed Jean.”

A third person tweeted: “Oh no Jean,” while a fourth said: “These lot are DEADING off Jean.”

Jean’s friends and family have been growing increasingly concerned about her erratic outbursts in recent days – convinced that she’s binned her medication.

So, in a bid to get her back on balance, Kush and Shirley crushed up the medication and snuck it into her food.

But the harrowing storyline may have spelled a much darker fate for the Walford resident.
