EastEnders fans fury as Chantelle APOLOGISES to Gray after he breaks her arm for not being pregnant

EASTENDERS fans were left horrified tonight as Gray Atkins broke Chantelle’s arm – then smiled smugly as she apologised to him.

The psychopathic solicitor flew into a rage at the news his wife wasn’t pregnant after he yet again forced her into having sex with him.

Coldly polite Gray fractured her arm after she told him a pregnancy test had come up negative and raged about her helping old pal Jags Panesar with his shopping.

He raged: “Aren’t you disappointed? I’m disappointed Chantelle, because you are the most important thing in the world to me.”

She mouthed: “Sorry.”

He continued: “You were so keen to run off and see your mum and go into some strange bloke’s house.”

Dripping with false sincerity, he added: “I want another baby so much because nothing means more to me than our family.”

But when Chantelle turned to go into the living room, he roared: “Don’t turn away from me when I’m talking to you.”

And with that, he twisted her arm, leaving viewers at home wincing as a horrific crunching sound rung out.

He was later shown offering her ibuprofen, but she replied: “I need to go to the hospital.”

She lied to mum Karen: “I tripped on the bottom of the stairs.”

Sitting in his BMW car outside, Chantelle told Gray: “It wasn’t a lie really. We were at the bottom of the stairs and I did pull away weirdly. You wasn’t to know what I was going to do.

“It’s my fault really. I can do some stupid things when it comes to us, when I get emotional.”

She added: “Sorry I make you feel like I don’t love you Gray – because I do. I love you.”

He smiled, replying: “I love you too” – and he reached for his seat belt while Chantelle stared out of the window looking terrified.

Many viewers were shocked, tweeting: “Noooo Chantelle, it’s not your fault!!” alongside a sad face and broken heart emoji.

Another agreed: “Chantelle, baby, this ain’t your fault.”
