EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Tina Carter’s fate was finally revealed.
The barmaid – who is played by actress Luisa Bradshaw-White in the BBC soap – was thought to have been murdered by Gray Atkins.
She had confronted him about murdering his wife Chantelle and looked to have been killed by him.
However fans never saw the body being buried – just moved and so held out hope she was still alive.
In tonight’s episode that hope died when a gas explosion went off in the Argee Bhajee.
“There was an explosion earlier at the Argee Bhajee,” Chelsea revealed to husband Gray.
“The East London Star says the gas board are going into sort it. Lucky that no-one was there. Sorry, pizza, yeah that would be good.”
But Gray looked massively distracted and it was soon revealed why.
At the Queen Vic Shirley was devastated after her hunt for Tina had turned up nothing.
She told Nancy: “We went to every gay bar from Walford to Soho.
“I know last night was a long shot but I can’t do this anymore Nancy.
“I know Tina’s out there somewhere, she probably doesn’t want to be found. I just hope she decides to come home soon.”

But then the soap revealed exactly where Tina is – rotting away in the basement of the restaurant.
Fans are devastated that Tina’s death has been confirmed after they were convinced she was alive and being held captive by Gray.
