EASTENDERS fans were sickened tonight as Keanu Taylor tortured Callum Highway and forced Ben Mitchell to listen.
The mechanic – who is played by actor Danny Walters in the BBC soap – kidnapped Ben’s boyfriend Callum in an effort to get Ben to hand over a huge ransom to fund his and Sharon’s new life abroad.
But things took a dark turn when Keanu realised Callum knew about Ben ordering his death.
He told a chained up Callum: “You knew, innocent kind-hearted Callum knew Ben Mitchell tried to have me killed and did nothing about it? You’re just as bad as him.”
And he then decided to take his rage out on both of them by torturing Callum to increase the pressure on Ben – and he made him listen over the phone.
It horrified viewers who were left terrified for Callum.
One wrote: “Callum is losing along with Ben, I’m crying….#EastEnders”
A second said: “Oh no, Ben and Callum 
#Eastenders”
Another added: “Ben is actually breaking my heart #EastEnders”
BBC One fans thought Keanu was gone for good when he said an emotional goodbye to his mum at the airport but, complete with a new rugged brown beard, he is back on Albert Square.
A dramatic episode opened with Keanu confronting Ben and revealing he had kidnapped his boyfriend Callum.
He demanded 100,000 from Ben to release his man and to flee Walford for good.
He said, if the money was stumped up: “You get Callum back, I will be gone for good.”
Yet, showing his terrifying streak, Keanu added: “If you breathe a word of this to anyone – he’s dead.”
Ben didn’t take heed of the warning and immediately sought out Martin.
He later attempted to secure a loan to stump up the cash to meet Keanu’s demands.
