EASTENDERS’ Jamie Borthwick has sparked secret romance rumours after leaving a book launch with a mystery woman.
The 27-year-old actor looked coy as he stepped out in London last night after attending Frankie Bridge’s launch for GROW.
He beamed with joy in the company of a pretty brunette, who was keeping warm with an oversized blazer draped over her shoulders.
The stunner also flashed a glimpse at her toned abs in a halterneck crop top, which she teamed with simple black trousers.
At one point, she and Jamie gazed adoringly at each other with huge smiles on their faces, with he dressed casually in a striped T-shirt and jeans.
The star has played Jay Brown in EastEnders since 2006, catapulting to fame as a much-loved child star.
He has always remained private about his personal life, and is close friends with many of his castmates – including Ben Mitchell actor Max Bowden.
The two regularly delight fans with videos together, especially singing songs while driving in Jamie’s car.
And he recently revealed a surprise family connection to another former cast member, with Jamie stunned to discover that a new arrival in 2018 was actually his second cousin.
Charlie Winter played Hunter Owen in the BBC One soap, and Jamie exclusively told HOAR about their secret relation.
He explained: “My great uncle is called Charlie Winter, so when they said there was a kid coming in called Charlie Winter, I was like: ‘Seriously?’ Turns out we are second cousins.”
