EASTENDERS star Jessica Plummer celebrated her 28th birthday with friends and family last night after footage of a furious public row with her daughter’s dad emerged yesterday.
The actress – who plays Chantelle Atkins in the BBC soap – took to Instagram to share with her 111k followers what she got up to whilst celebrating her special day.
In an adorable video, the former Neon Jungle singer was all smiles as she was sung happy birthday, with her four-year-old daughter sitting comfortably on her lap awaiting her chocolate cake.
And as it got nearer, the temptation and excitement proved too much for Noa and she cheekily blew out the candles instead of the birthday girl.
Jessica captioned the post: “Thank you so much for all the birthday love Chapter #28
“I’m carrying the same enthusiasm for this year ahead, as my sister has got (behind camera) singing me happy birthday ”
Her special celebrations come just a day after HOAR Online revealed that the actress was left in tears after a screaming row in the street with Noa’s father, Jaz, at the beginning of September.
The never seen before footage showed the childhood sweathearts shouting at each other as they walked up Streatham Hill in South London on Wednesday 9 September at 10.59am.
An eyewitness told us: “I looked out of the window because there was a huge public row going on, and I could hear a woman screaming at someone.
“As soon as I saw her, I realised it was Chantelle from EastEnders. I recognised her straight away.
“After they finished screaming at each other she sat down on a wall and cried and he stormed off in one direction and she walked off the other way.”
In the footage you can hear the soap star shouting: “You’re selfish. You’re selfish”, before calling Jaz “a sneaky person”.
The eye witness continued: “I couldn’t believe such a huge soap star was fighting in the street and so publicly. It was so loud the whole street could hear.”
Although the footage seemed very serious, a source close to Jessica told HOAR Online: “Things got said in the heat of the moment but it’s all blown over now. It’s not a big deal.”
Former pop star Jessica has always kept the father of her daughter out of the spotlight – only posting a video of him celebrating her pregnancy in 2016, telling followers: “Couldn’t be happier to be starting a family with my childhood sweetheart.”
The star joined EastEnders in March last year as Chantelle Atkins, the wife of abusive Gray.
Over the past year viewers have been left horrified by his abuse and in recent weeks she’s tried to escape the nasty man.
This Friday marks the end of Jessica’s journey on the soap as Chantelle, after it was announced earlier this month that she was leaving the show.
