EASTENDERS’ Max Bowden makes the most of his home based 26th birthday in isolation as he takes a relaxing soak.
The Ben Mitchell actor stripped naked to jump in the bubble bath as he looked glumly towards a balloon that read Happy Birthday tied to his leg at the end of the tub.
“How to spend your birthday in isolation part one,” he captioned the hilarious Instagram Story.
The second part of his at home birthday party included him practicing his golf putting.
“So, how to do destroy my living room featuring me,” the actor said as he shot a video of his practice putting mat, as his girlfriend Danielle McCarney can be heard giggling in the background.
He added as he took a disappointing shot: “Birthday wishes part two.”
Max takes following the Tier 4 restrictions very seriously and was recently in tears after his nan was among the first people getting a coronavirus vaccine earlier this month.
He said he “can’t wait” to give his nan a cuddle after months of keeping his distance.
“Tears of joy this morning,” he tweeted.
“My nan gets her covid vaccine today. I can’t wait to cuddle her.”
But not seeing his nan for his birthday has hit the actor pretty hard.
“Tomorrow will be the first birthday I’ve ever spent without seeing my Nan face to face and I’m pretty f**ing upset by that,” Max wrote on Twitter.
“And I know so many people have experienced not seeing their loved ones too. This year has been f***ing s**t. I want it over.”
The vaccine came as a relief for the young actor and his family as back in October Max was left heartbroken after his beloved grandfather died of cancer.
He posted a picture of him holding his granddad’s hand on Instagram, revealing he sadly died.
Max told followers: “On Monday evening I lost my grandad to his battle with cancer.
“In his last weeks he was overwhelmed by the amazing love and care the @macmillancancer nurses provided him with.
“For that reason I am reposting my longest day challenge website in the hope of raising more money for them. Please give generously if you can. Thank you.”
Max became the sixth actor to portray Ben Mitchell after joining the BBC soap last year.
He has also acted in Casualty and Waterloo Road.
