After the brunette – who plays Whitney Dean in EastEnders – uploaded another TikTok clip of her singing Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love, co-star Louisa Lytton was quick to comment.

The 31-year-old, who plays Ruby Allen in the BBC soap, liked the clip before writing: “SHONAAAAAAAAAAAA WHEN IS THE ALBUM DROPPING,” followed by some heart emojis.

Shona has been wowing fans a lot with her singing voice lately

Shona was quick to reply and wrote: “haha! Love you x x x one woman show in the shower,” to which Louisa joked: “I’ll sit on the toilet and listen ?❤ love you too x.”

Their affectionate social media exchange comes after they were pictured heading back to work together at the end of June as filming of EastEnders resumed following lockdown.

Louisa said she would even listen to Shona singing if she was on the loo

Louisa couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she arrived to set in her white car while sporting a pair of oversized shades and her hair in a voluminous curl.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic halted production on all soaps back in March, with the number of weekly episodes slashed in an effort to keep the show on air for as long as possible.

But EastEnders final pre-lockdown episode aired on June 16, forcing the soap to go off air for the first time in its 35-year history.

With filming resuming, following new health and safety guidelines, fans have been promised four 20-minute shows a week as of September.
