SCHEMING Leo King’s mum is set to turn up in Albert Square, with a first look of Fiona Allen’s EastEnders guest appearance being revealed.
The Smack The Pony star has taken on the role of Michaela Turnbull for a brief stint in the BBC One soap.
Michaela arrives in Walford on a mission to find her son, suspicious of his intentions in the area.
It has been revealed that the character knows that Leo is convinced of his dad Tony King’s innocence, and she has been unable to change his mind over the years.
In recent months, viewers have watched in horror as Leo, played by Tom Wells, set his sights on Whitney Dean – seemingly plotting against her after she got paedophile Tony sent to prison as a teen.
He blames her for his father’s death, with the evil villain taking his own life behind bars a few years back.
Leo has been wooing the unsuspecting beauty, who believes that she might have found true love following her Callum Highway heartache.
But Michaela’s arrival spells trouble for Leo, who has so far been successful in hiding his true identity from the locals.
With his mum threatening to expose the truth, how far will Leo go to get revenge on Whitney?
Commenting on her arrival in the square, 54-year-old Fiona said: “I really enjoyed being part of EastEnders and was made to feel really welcome by everyone.
“My character is strong and down to earth, a tough cookie who doesnt give up easily in life no matter what is thrown at her!”
The famous comedy actress has already filmed her scenes, which will air later this winter.
It was previously revealed that Leo will viciously attack Whitney after revealing his true identity at Tony’s grave.
Pictures show the raging villain beating his terrified girlfriend and dragging her to the ground, where he rubs her face into the dirt.
The shocking scene appears to come after Leo is seen earlier in the day tidying the grave and leaving a fresh bouquet of flowers.
