CALLUM Highway is caught snooping at Phil’s paperwork by gangster Danny Hardcastle next week in EastEnders as he struggles to deal with a fatal car accident.
Callum – who is played by Tony Clay in the BBC One soap – turned down DI Thompson’s offer to grass on the Mitchell family this week.

Thompson’s offer came after Ben was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery with Danny.
Callum was torn when his boss told him he knew he’d lied about the CCTV footage to protect his boyfriend and that he was willing to turn a blind eye and let him go, but only if Callum helped him arrest Phil.
But viewers watched Callum disappoint Thompson as he refused to comply with his twisted request.
Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Callum look up from Phil’s paperwork only to see that Danny Hardcastle has turned up.
Danny angrily accuses Ben of stitching him up for the warehouse job.
When Phil arrives. Danny enjoys telling him that he caught Callum looking through Phil’s paperwork.
Has Callum accepted Thompson’s offer after all?
Meanwhile, Ben is irritated when Callum turns up late to Stuart and Rainie’s wedding and assumes it has something to do with Phil, which causes more tension between the pair.
Later in the week, Callum struggles after a fatal accident.
EastEnders have teased that viewers will see Callum set up with a support officer.
But who has died and will Callum recover?
Fans will have to wait and see.
