KHEERAT Panesar leaves Mitch and Karen reeling next week in EastEnders when he suggests that Gray Atkins murdered Chantelle.
The lawyer will brutally murder Chantelle – who is played by Jessica Plummer on the BBC One soap – as the domestic abuse storyline comes to a harrowing end.

Viewers watched Gray thwart Chantelle’s plan to flee on a family holiday to Southend this week when he suspected her plans and managed to keep the children at home with him.
Matters were made worse when Gray arrived on the holiday just in time to catch Chantelle calling her new love Kheerat and telling him she wanted to be with him.
The abusive husband will drag Chantelle and the kids home later this week, and eventually end up killing his wife when she blurts out that she’s leaving him.
Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see the police question Gray about Chantelle’s death at the station.
Meanwhile, Karen, Mitch and the family return from Scotland and break down at the tragic news.
Later, a heartbroken Mitch notices that something isn’t quite right between Kheerat – who Chantelle told about her escape plan ahead of her murder – and Gray.
Later, the pair meet and Kheerat tells Mitch that he’d been speaking to Chantelle throughout lockdown, and that things weren’t going smoothly between her and Gray.
When Kheerat asks Mitch if he thinks it’s possible that Gray killed Chantelle, Mitch is lost for words and storms off.
Mitch confides in Karen about Kheerat’s theory but will Karen believe what he has to say, or might Kheerat’s words turn Mitch against him?
Gray gets a visit from the police again later, and they reveal they’ve had some new information.
Will Gray end up facing justice for Chantelle’s death?
Or will he manipulate the situation to his advantage yet again?
Speaking about Chantelle’s decision to escape to a women’s refuge rather than confiding in her family, actress Jessica Plummer said: “Chantelle’s parents have a relationship with her husband, so for her to tell her parents is to potentially not escape.
“Gray is clever, he’s smart and he’s not going to let her just walk out of the door. I think it’s easier for her to just run.”
