Mick tries to win Linda over during her shift

EastEnders viewers quickly realised that something wasn’t right when Frankie dropped the bombshell that she was his estranged daughter earlier this month.

The small age gap between the father and daughter left fans wondering if Mick had been abused.

And it seems viewers were right as Frankie tried to get Mick to see the truth about the abuse his care worker – and her mother – Katy Lewis put him through when he was in care as a child.

Mick is upset when Linda gets him an appointment for a medication review behind his back

Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Max offer Linda another shift in the restaurant.

Mick grows uneasy as he watches on.

Later, Mick is further unsettled when he notices that Frankie – who has been ignoring his messages – has returned.

Mick interrupts Linda’s shift and tries to win her over, but back at home it becomes clear that there’s something bothering him.

Later, Linda gets Mick an appointment for a medication review.

Shirley quizzes Mick about why he’s been ringing Frankie

Shirley tells Mick she’s not going anywhere until her tells her what’s going on

When Shirley overhears and quizzes Linda about what’s wrong, Linda tells her that she’s at her wits end and Mick also seems to be struggling.

But when Mick finds out about the appointment, he’s furious that Linda went behind his back.

Later, Shirley tells him that she knows Linda is worried and that he needs to get help for his anxiety.

When Mick continues to act weirdly, Shirley begs Mick to tell her what’s going on and why he’s been calling Frankie.

When Mick tries to brush off Shirley’s concerns, she refuses to let it go and pushes to know who Frankie is to Mick, forcing Mick to open up about his childhood.

Will Mick tell Shirley about the abuse?

If so, how will she react?
