Mick is haunted by the past when he visits the care home he grew up in

Viewers were fuming when Katy rocked up in Walford and told Mick that Frankie wasn’t his daughter – and that he’d imagined the abuse she put him through when he was only 12.

Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Katy continue to manipulate Mick as he insists on visiting the care home where he grew up.

Katy is nervous about what the visit could trigger, but Mick is determined to get answers.

The care home is boarded up when they arrive, but Mick refuses to give up and forces his way in.

Katy tells Mick his trauma is probably related to Shirley abandoning him

Seeing that he’s being haunted by old demons, Katy suggests his trauma might have something to do with Shirley leaving him.

Later, Linda bumps into Max while buying rum at the Minute Mart but tells him it’s for Mick.

Later, Linda sets up an anniversary party at home for Mick to remember a date they had when he was 12, but he hits the roof when he realises what is happening.

Mick lashes out at Tina and tells her she doesn’t understand

A devastated Linda heads off to the playground but when Max spots her considering a drink, he tries to comfort her.

Disaster strikes when Ian watches the pair share a kiss.

Meanwhile, Tina visits Mick and grows certain that his bad mood must be due to losing the pub.

Determined to get it back fro him, Tina hatches a plan to get rid of Ian for good.

Later, Tina explains to Mick that she’s planning on getting the pub back for him.

But Mick lashes out at her, telling her she clearly doesn’t understand what he’s going through.

Will Mick ever open up?
