EASTENDERS’ Mick Carter confronts Linda after finding out she spent New Years Eve in a hotel room with another man – but the fling is news to his wife.
The BBC One soap aired a special New Years Eve episode that focused on the pub landladys booze-fuelled night as her alcoholism spiralled out of control.

The hazy episode, told from Lindas point of view, made it clear that the pub landlady, played by Kellie Bright, was suffering blackouts as other characters reacted to things that hadnt been shown on screen.
Some of the gaps have been filled in by her husband Mick, who told Linda shed scratched and hit him as he tried to get her home.
He told her: “Shall I tell you what I am going through?
“You see that, that’s what you done to me on New Year because you were so off your nut you didn’t have a clue what you was doing.
“I don’t even know who you are anymore.”

In upcoming scenes, Linda is left horrified as she realises what she got up to the night she blacked out.
Meanwhile Mick, keen to keep this revelation hush hush, lies to Shirley about the hotel booking from New Year unaware she already knows.
His feisty mum then urges him to confront Linda, insisting that she needs help and is an alcoholic.
It all kicks off when Linda arrives home and is shocked at Micks accusation.
But things come to a head when the hotel confirms that Linda did in fact spend the night with a man.
The next day, Linda hides another hangover from her husband as she struggles to cope.

She feels pressure at work when she notices that Shirley is keeping an eye on her, and sneaks out to drink.
Later, when the Carters get some good news, Linda again uses it as an excuse to pop open the champagne.
Shirley spots Micks worry and warns Linda shell be watching her every move.
Later in the week, Mick sees how hurt Linda is and apologises for telling his mum and Tina about the hotel booking.
But Linda continues to struggle at work when Daniel offers her a drink.
